Comfort Policy
Here at Pure Emporium, we believe that comfort is key. When you are visiting the salon, the most important thing to us is that you are comfortable and enjoying your treatment with us the best that you can. Obviously, our priority is to get good results with any treatment, but we want you to be relaxed and happy with your experience whilst you are in the salon.
So, we have introduced a BRAND NEW policy into the salon. And yes, we are taking this one very seriously. COMFORT IS KEY, so we are pleased to introduce a “Comfort Policy”.
Now, this isn’t like a normal policy. There are no “terms and conditions” that you as a client must agree to. However, we’d like you to read through them, and know that all of these things are down to you, and if you wish to request something whilst you’re in the salon to make your visit more enjoyable, then please just ask!
So, let’s get into it…
WEAR WHAT YOU LIKE
I don’t know about you, but nothing brings us more comfort than our joggers and hoodie.
Lockdowns have truly brought us closer to our comforts. Sometimes you can feel obliged to wear certain things to certain venues… but, Stigma - BE GONE! No extra points are given for looking fresh off the catwalk.
We beg you, don’t put anything into your outfit apart from COMFORT. So, if you’re comfy in your joggers or even your pyjama bottoms, then please join us in that! Whether you’ve just rolled out of bed, or you are halfway through your day or have just finished a night shift- wear whatever the heck you like.
TALK (OR DON’T) WITHOUT JUDGEMENT
We are totally guided by you!
If you fancy chatting throughout your treatment, that’s cool! If you don’t that’s cool too! We never, ever want you to feel pressured either way. There is no right or wrong way to relax and everyone winds down differently.
At Pure Emporium, we can carry out silent treatments to give your brain time to switch off to another place, or you can chat away and get things off your chest without ANY judgement. Whatever happens in the treatment room, stays in the treatment room!
Sometimes, a helpful ear to listen pays dividends. Other times, shutting the world off and enjoying some inner peace and quiet is exactly what you need. Whatever you decide, we are happy with it all.
LET’S GET COSY
There’s nothing worse than trying to relax and feeling cold.
As a rule, we always have the heating on, but if you want to be a little warmer, you’ll be glad to know that we have blankets galore at Pure Emporium. If you’d like a blanket over you whilst receiving any treatment from us, please ask.
Your body’s temperature can change rapidly depending on what you are doing. When you are still, your body temperature drops naturally. To relax in the best possible way, it’s good to get cosy. If you want a blanket at any point during your visit- please let us know as it is no trouble at all.
NEVER FEEL PARCHED
I don’t know about you but I’m the sort of person that will take a bottle of water with me everywhere. I like to be prepared. We all know the annoying feeling of a sudden “tickle” in the back of your throat or when your mouth starts to go dry. It’s frustrating and when you haven’t got your drink to hand it’s even worse!
However, at Pure Emporium, we don’t expect you to bring your own. We have a range of refreshments that are complimentary with any treatment. Our therapists will offer. But, always FEEL FREE TO ASK. Whether you are having a manicure, pedicure, waxing or any other treatment in salon, we are always happy to provide a refreshment.
Beverages are hot and cold. We have a variety of latte’s, coffee, tea, herbal teas, squash and water, which are all provided in disposable cups to ensure that we are being COVID-19 safe.
So anytime you would like a drink during your time in the salon – please just ask.
LISTEN TO THE MUSIC (OR NOT)
To keep with the calming and relaxing atmosphere in the salon, we have peaceful and soothing music playing in every room.
Now, we know that some clients that like it more than others. Or there are times when you simply just want some peace and quiet.
The music in every beauty room is adjustable. The volume can be turned up or down. So, for personal preference, if you would ever like the music altered, then just let your therapist know. It is easy to do, so please don’t feel that you are being a nuisance. We work to please you!
TO BE UP OR TO BE DOWN
If you haven’t visited the salon before, you may not know that Pure Emporium is a 2-storey Beauty Salon. We have a beauty room and nail bar downstairs. We have another 3 beauty rooms and another nail bar located upstairs in the salon.
We know that some client’s may struggle to get up the stairs or would simply prefer a treatment downstairs, and if that were the case, we would much prefer you let us know when making your booking so we can try and arrange the diary to suit you.
This simple request can make your visit to the salon much more enjoyable, without the worry of having to go upstairs. Please just ensure to either add this to your booking notes or let one of our receptionists know when making your appointments with us.
