What Does The Treatment Involve?

This amazing and effective treatment is simple. It’s a 4 stage treatment.

With the illumiFacial, you will receive:

Cleanse - The first step of the facial is a deep cleanse using a specialist formulation to remove any impurities. This is important when wanting to achieve clear, healthy and radiant skin.
Tri-Fruit Acid Peel - With this step, we aim to work a little bit deeper. You will have the Tri Fruit Acid Peel applied to your skin for 3-10 minutes. This will help to resurface your skin’s texture and decongesting your pores, all whilst priming your skin ready for the next step.
Lynton IPL - After the peel, your skin will be at its optimum condition for the application of the IPL treatments. This will work to stimulate collagen and targeting any uneven tone on your skin. With this stage of the treatment, we can target and reduce the appearance of; freckles, sun-damage, vascular breakouts and general redness. During most treatments, this stage can provide results that are instant. Leaving your skin noticeably clearer and more firm.
Hydrate & Protect - To finish off the treatment, specialist serums will be applied to your skin, once the IPL is finished. These help to soothe, regenerate and protect your skin.

The Sensation:

The illumiFacial is a very quick and comfortable treatment which aims to provide you with optimum skin health. With most treatments, you will feel a slight tingling sensation when the Fruit Peel is applied to your skin, but soon this sensation subsides. During the IPL part of the treatment, some people can find this mildly uncomfortable. It is usually described as a “quick pinprick” or a “warm feeling”. During training, the team at Pure Emporium tried this, and would all say that it is very tolerable.

What Will You Achieve with illumiFacial?

There are a few things to expect after having your illumiFacial treatment. You may experience a subtle tingling feeling on the skin and with sun-damage spots, you may notice that they get darker before they eventually flake away. If you do experience this, this means that the treatment has worked perfectly in providing you with a more even and flawless tone. As well as achieving clearing, healthier skin. In the following months after the treatment, you will continue to notice and ongoing improvement with the firmness and plumpness of your skin. The is due to new collagen being stimulated deep within the skin tissue.

Possible side effects:

With any treatment, there are always possible side effects. The illumiFacial is a completely non-invasive treatment, using only medical grade equipment. Post treatment, your skin may appear red and slightly swollen, this will reduce very quickly. You may also experience patches of dry skin and in very rare cases, a small blister can form with some temporary lightening or darkening of the skin. In most cases, people experience absolutely no side affects and any reactions usually disappear within a few hours, leaving the skin looking and feeling radiant and healthy.
