AND, we were all super excited to find out that OPI’s Acrylic Alternative - powder perfection is finally in the UK and our training is taking place in the salon on Wednesday 14th October 2020.

WHAT IS IT?

A new, quick applying acrylic alternative that promotes a low odour environment while offering gel-like shine & weeks of wear without the need to light cure

Powder perfection is an acrylic alternative system designed to provide a protective overlay for clients who desire added strength and durability with built- in colour.

Have no fear, our OPI Gelcolor is going NOWHERE! Powder Perfection is simply an added alternative wanting extra durability and strength.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Dipping powders use a unique application of resin in the form of a base coat. Nails are then dipped into a colored acrylic powder multiple times, cured with an activator and finished with a top coat. No need for curing with the LED light.

The nails are dry and ready to rock and roll by the end of your nail treatment, meaning you can resume your daily life without any nail worries.

SO WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN OPI GELCOLOR AND OPI POWDER PERFECTION?

Gelcolor is still one of the UK’s favorite choices when it comes to nail options for longer lasting wear. OPI Gelcolor is a ‘pure’ Gel - and this gets pained on the nail just like nail varnish, but then gets cured under the LED light.

This will last around 2 to maximum 3 weeks. Most people find it will closer to the 2 weeks marker, if you get 3 weeks that’s good going.

Powder Perfection is that next step up regarding strength, durability and colour. If you want something to see you through that extra bit of time whilst not worrying about catching your nails, or chipping - Powder Perfection has your name all over it.

Don’t forget, exactly the same rules apply with the Powder Perfection as they do with Gel… you need to get them soaked off professionally to ensure nail health moving forwards.
