SKIN NEEDLING / MICRO NEEDLING AT HOME

Needling the skin is something that is SUPER effective… when it's done in the correct way, with the correct tool, following on with the correct products!

What's the purpose of micro-needling? It's designed to push your active topical skincare deeper into your skin. The needles create tiny little channels where the products saturate to lower layers of the skin, and we always hit home about how getting the products to the lowest layers will create more change.

It’s absolutely amazing for boosting the results of your home-care products for treating lines and wrinkles, crows feet, tightening and refining the skin, treating large pores as well as helping to repair scar tissue / acne scarring.

You would Cleanse and Tone, and then needle the skin, before applying your serums, and moisturisers.

SIDE NOTE - if you aren’t using ACTIVE INGREDIENTS within your skin care, needling is pretty pointless. You need to be feeding the lower skin cells with something that is actually going to make a change after you’ve needled for it to be effective.

Environ launched the world's FIRST cosmetic roller and pioneered the concept of Micro-Needling more than 20 years ago.

Microneedling / at home skin rollers / Skin Needling all mean the same thing.

What can differ, is the length of needles on the roller.

When doing this at home, we recommend between 0.1mm-0.2mm - we have specific Environ rollers that are best for the job.

Skin needling something we highly recommend once you are on the second level of Environ moisturiser.

When you use one of the Environ's needling devices at home, you're going to get 100 times more essential nutrients to the areas that need them most, compared to not needling. - AKA faster and better skin results from your skincare products.

The truth is, when you move up the scale with your Vitamin A levels, your skin becomes more protected, which is exactly what we want, but it also means we need to do more to get what we want to where it needs it - which is where the needling comes in.

It creates tiny little holes in the skin (holes that you cannot see, nor will this create enlarged pores, by the way!) where the products can absorb / soak down better.

Environ's Micro-Needling Instruments are medical-grade quality, low risk, pain-free, safe and effective.

Please don't think that going and buying a tool to do this at home with larger needles will be better. It won't! If it's not done correctly with the correct tools, it can cause more harm than good.

It's all about the number of holes or channels created, NOT the needle lengths, to get the best results.

There is also no use in skin needling if you're not applying high quality, active products on top - please make sure you're using beneficial products and ingredients to soak down to the lower layers.

It goes without saying, to ensure it’s done safely, your tool needs to be kept clean and YOU to be the ONLY person that uses it.
